The JCC is pleased to welcome Johnny Griffith as our JCC Head Soccer Coach and Operations Coordinator.   Johnny is a four year Starter on University of North Carolina Charlotte Soccer team.  He won most valuable honors as a freshman in 1983 after stellar season in which he led team with 12 goals and 27 points.   He also finished one or two in scoring column in first three years and posted a career-high 10 assists as a sophomore. was selected all south third team member in 1983 and honorable mention all Sun Belt conference in 1984.  Johnny finished his career with goals  29 assists 21 and points 79. Key starter on UNCC's 1983 Sun Belt championship squad.

Johnny has worked for over 12 years with David Allred Soccer camps and has taught for years at the Soccer Dome/ XL soccer world. He was also the Soccer Director at the Factory from 2006  to 2008   Johnny is married and has three grown children. He comes with a lot of Soccer knowledge and love for the game but even more so his love for seeing how little soccer players with the right coaching, become if they want to great soccer players!
