Jewish Family Services

Jewish Family Services (JFS) is the division of the Jewish Federation of Raleigh-Cary that identifies, reaches out to and supports individuals and families in the community who are in need.  We learn of these individuals and families when they contact us directly or are referred from congregational sources, social services agencies or members of the community. Our staff conducts an initial assessment of each referral and determines what interventions, if any, are appropriate. Services are provided by JFS staff and/or community agencies and practitioners. To help identify unmet educational needs in health-related and other program areas, we also perform community outreach and data collection.  To make a referral or inquire about any of our services, contact

JFS offers a long list of services to the community, from counseling to financial aid.  Click the banner above to learn more about what JFS can do for you.

Senior Outreach

Caring for the elderly is a big issue that will only grow as the nation’s elderly population increases.  JFS Senior Outreach focuses on providing for our seniors and their families.

The B'Yachad Volunteer Program operates in the belief that, together, we can make a difference.  A sub-division of Jewish Family Services, B'yachad offers many volunteer opportunities through community outreach.
