The Melton Program is an integrated course of adult Jewish study from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. Melton is where Jews from the spectrum of the community, regardless of affiliation meet to share a unique learning experience. Give us two hours and we'll give you 500 years!
Now you can experience Melton again as a member of our Melton Re-New Class. We invite you to join us once more as we rediscover Melton. The Melton Re-New Committee has designed a course, unique to Raleigh, that will cover the best our curriculum has to offer!
The Scholars Curriculum provides an opportunity for continued study for graduates of the Florence Melton Adult Mini-School. Building on the two years of text-based study of Judaism, the Scholars Curriculum focuses on a deeper examination of selected Jewish texts, from the Biblical to the modern. We invite Mini-School graduates to engage Jewish texts that have shaped Jews and Judaism for millennia.
"We came wanting to learn...we left wanting to learn more!"
The Friends of Melton help support the future of the Melton Adult Mini-School in Raleigh-Cary. Membership is open to Mini-School graduates only, and members are entitled to exclusive luncheons, speaker events and more!
Registration for the 2010 - 2011 Melton Re-New class is now open! View the brochure for details and schedules.
