Create, Connect & Kibbitz: Art from the Inside Out

  • David R. Kahn Community Campus 12804 Norwood Road Raleigh, NC, 27613 United States (map)

Program Description: Imagine a four-part series built like a constellation. Each workshop is distinct, yet all orbit around the same idea: discovering creativity through unexpected forms of touch, texture, and transformation. Join us for all four, just one, or any combination that works for you!

Art from the Inside Out: Creative Connection is an expressive arts experience that moves between inner awareness and outer expression, guiding you to create a meaningful mixed media piece rooted in personal insight.

Karen leads a gentle, flowing process moving through breath, embodied awareness, visualization, and reflection into authentic, creative expression. You'll be invited to trust your instincts, engage your senses and use various materials and modes of expression (ie. draw, paint, journal, collage, embodiment, visualization etc.) as you create an image that tells your unique story.

This session focuses on reconnecting with your creative spirit - curious, playful, courageous, and free - in community. Who are you are when unencumbered?

No art experience is needed. This is about discovery and expression, process not perfection. What you create becomes a tangible reminder you can return to, reconnecting with the energy, insight and wisdom of this moment, whenever you choose.
