What We Carried, What We Keep: A Freedom Seder on Living Resilience
This year, the NCMA’s Freedom Seder invites guests to honor not only the struggles their ancestors endured but the strength, creativity, and hope they passed forward.
Through a powerful artistic dialogue, Jerusalem-based choreographer and dancer Elad Schechter and Durham-based spoken word artist and playwright Dasan Ahanu illuminate resilience as a living inheritance: embodied, spoken, remembered, and continually renewed. Their performance weaves movement and word into a meditation on what we carry from our past and what we choose to keep alive for the future.
