Program Description: With the November elections rapidly approaching, Beth Meyer Synagogue will host a candidates' forum on Sunday, August 30, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m., featuring candidates running for mayor, city council, county commissioner, school board, and NC house/senate.
The JCRC is proud to co-sponsor this event alongside Beth Meyer Synagogue and other Jewish organizations. Invitations have gone out to all candidates running for these offices, and early indications point to strong attendance.
Education and knowledge are essential as we exercise our right to vote. Regardless of where you fall on the political spectrum, knowledge is power — and we hope you'll mark this date on your calendar and join us.
Now more than ever, the Jewish community understands that who gets elected has a real impact on the quality of life
