In this class students will work on the basic principles of Tai Chi, emphasizing posture and balance. The class will work through the first 18 moves of form. Practical application of the martial art form will be discussed as well. Bring water and comfortable clothing, no mat required as this class is all upright. Class Dates: 1/16, 1/23, 1/30, 2/6 & 2/13
Students are required to have medical clearance from their caregiver before registering for fitness classes at the JCC.
About the instructor: Norman Rabins has practiced numerous martial arts over the years. He trained in Krav Maga, Boxing, and Southern Chinese Kung Fu. He has been practicing and teaching Tai Chi for 6 years.
