Continuing Tai Chi Fall 2026

Description: For continuing students, you should be comfortable with the Tai Chi for Arthritis and Fall Prevention form, which is based on the Sun style of Tai Chi. This beginning form has 21 movements.

In the continuing class, we will refine the beginner form and add on as we learn Part 2 of the beginner form, bringing the movements to 41. We will also be learning the traditional Sun style form of 73 movements. Depending on class interest, we may explore the Yang style 24 movement form.

Instructor: Erin Ament is certified by the Tai Chi for Health Institute to teach Tai Chi for Arthritis and Fall Prevention. While she is new to Tai Chi teaching, she has experience teaching as a Professor of Linguistics and as a Swim Coach. Erin has been involved in sports all her life, most recently studying Tae Kwon Do, before switching to Tai Chi.

Clothing: Please wear loose, comfortable clothes and shoes that are suitable for exercise.
