COVID-19 Policy Update for August 6th, 2021

Volunteers in Masks COVID-19.jpg

The health and well-being of our members, program participants, clients, volunteers and staff is our top priority. Based on the new guidance from the CDC which recommends that everyone regardless of vaccination status wear a face covering indoors, we are now requiring that everyone over the age of 2 wear a face covering indoors at all Federation facilities including the David R. Kahn Community Campus and our Creedmoor Road offices.

Although face coverings are not required when outdoors, the Jewish Federation of Raleigh-Cary, JFS and JCC, in alignment with NCDHHS strongly recommends that everyone wear a mask when in crowded areas and higher risk settings where social distancing is difficult.

Programs and services that serve unvaccinated children or high-risk populations may have different protocols that will be communicated to participants. These programs include Camp JCC, J-Rays swim team, youth athletics/enrichment programs, and some JFS services/programs and volunteer opportunities.

Thank you for your continued partnership during the last 18 months and as we strive to keep our community safe and healthy.
