Emily Finkelstein is an entrepreneur who has been involved with Jewish young professionals programs in Greater Raleigh. Recently, she has joined National Young Leadership Cabinet, a program from Jewish Federations of North America to empower the Jewish community’s emerging global leaders and philanthropists. We spoke with Emily to learn more about why she joined and what she hopes to gain from the experience.
Tamara Zishuk is the Senior Manager of Development and Programs for the Jewish Federation of Greater Raleigh. Recently, she had the opportunity to attend FedPro, a biannual conference where Federation professionals come together to learn best practices, strengthen networks, and engage honestly with the issues facing the global Jewish community.
In January, Federation Camp, Youth & Family Engagement Manager Stefanie Shapiro participated in an intensive seminar in Israel as part of the Merrin Teen Professional Fellowship, a program from JCCA designed for JCC professionals who work directly with teenagers. We asked Stefanie to share her experiences.
