Program Description: We are hosting a young adult FriendsGIVING potluck!
The goals are to build community and friendship during the holiday time, while also giving back to the community through service and philanthropy. Let’s celebrate friendship, gratitude, and community while helping our neighbors who are feeling the impact of reduced SNAP benefits.
This will be a dairy/vegetarian potluck (no meat or fish, please!) filled with comfort food, connection, and purpose.
When: Sunday, November 30 at 4pm
Where: David R. Kahn Community Campus
Cost: If you plan to come, please bring a dish to share and one (or more!) of the following:
A financial donation ($18 suggested) for the JFS Food Pantry
A grocery store gift card (to be distributed to those in need)
10–15 canned or boxed goods (cereal, mashed potatoes, rice, soups, oatmeal, canned fruit, and tuna are preferred)
A donation link will be posted soon. All contributions will support JFS and the JFS Food Pantry. Extra donations are always appreciated. Every can, card, and dollar counts toward feeding local families in need.
