Western Wake Speaker Lunch: "Learning to Live Without a Script"

  • Beth Shalom 5713 Yates Mill Pond Road Raleigh, NC, 27606 United States (map)

Program Description: "Learning to Live Without a Script" with George Miller

Come hear George Miller, local owner of One You Love Homecare, share his personal journey of caring for his father who was living with Alzheimer’s.

After his mother’s sudden and unexpected death, George and his wife Cindi evaluated all their options and decided the best place for his father was to move into their home. It was the beginning of the most challenging and rewarding period of their lives. Come listen to the highs and lows of a personal story of Alzheimer’s caregiving.

George was an eleven-year US Air Force officer and twenty-four-year technology sales executive when he and his wife decided to start One You Love Homecare of the Triangle. Now a Certified Dementia Practitioner with an in-home senior care business supporting the Research Triangle Park region, George is passionate about educating caregivers and families for people taking care of loved ones living with dementia.
