The Great Jigsaw Jam Competition

  • David R. Kahn Community Campus 12804 Norwood Road Raleigh, NC, 27613 United States (map)

Program Description: Are you a thrill seeker? Maybe you consider yourself a master of strategy. If either of those things sound like you, then this is the event for you! Doesn’t sound like you? This may still be the place to be. Gather with family or friends as a four-person team and race to complete a 500-piece jigsaw puzzle as quickly and accurately as possible.

You will compete against 11 other teams.

General rules will be as follows:

  • Each team will receive the same puzzle, which remains a secret until the competition starts.

  • There is a specified time limit from the time of opening the puzzle to when the clock stops. We are allotting 90 minutes.

  • No aids or outside assistance is allowed during the competition.

  • Teams must not distract each other or approach other teams during the competition.

  • The first team to complete the puzzle or the one with the fewest loose pieces at the end of time, wins.
