Program Description: Imagine a four-part series built like a constellation. Each workshop is distinct, yet all orbit around the same idea: discovering creativity through unexpected forms of touch, texture, and transformation. Join us for all four, just one, or any combination that works for you!
Clay with Emma Lavaty is a class where you design your own Miriam's Cups for Passover! Participants will use underglaze to decorate the cup, then apply a clear glossy glaze over it. Emma will fire the cups for participants to pick up later.
Instructor: Emma Lavaty owns Fikaware Ceramics, a business that offers handcrafted pottery and ceramics that reflect the beauty in everyday life. Everything is crafted by Emma in Wake Forest, NC. Pieces offered include functional pottery, home decor, wearables, and seasonal works.
