YAD (and Friends) Good Deeds Day

  • David R. Kahn Community Campus 12804 Norwood Road Raleigh, NC, 27613 United States (map)

Program Description: Join our Young Adult Division for a meaningful day of service as part of Good Deeds Day, a global movement dedicated to doing good and strengthening communities through acts of kindness and volunteerism.

We'll start the morning at the JCC with breakfast and a short Jewish learning session that explores the values behind service and caring for our community. Then we'll head out to volunteer sites across the city, partnering with local organizations to support important causes and make a real impact. Service sites will be announced soon.

After a morning of hands-on volunteering, we'll come back together to share lunch, reflect on the experience, and connect with other young adults who care about giving back.

Whether you're passionate about service or just looking for a meaningful way to spend the day and meet new people, Good Deeds Day is a great opportunity to show up for our community -- together. Come ready to roll up your sleeves and make a difference!

Not a Young Adult? We'd still love to see you there!

When: Sunday, May 3 from 10am-1pm

Where: Meet first at the David R. Kahn Community Campus, then volunteer at various locations
