Program Description: Join our Young Adult Division for a meaningful day of service as part of Good Deeds Day, a global movement dedicated to doing good and strengthening communities through acts of kindness and volunteerism.
We’ll begin the morning at Raleigh Rescue Mission, where we’ll learn about their work, help deep clean their facilities, and prepare sandwiches to distribute on the streets.
After a morning of hands‑on volunteering, we’ll enjoy lunch catered by Caroll’s Kitchen, a local nonprofit that helps women in crisis get back on their feet. During lunch, we will participate in Jewish learning and reflection, and then take part in a second service project—packing care packages for the Women’s Center in Raleigh. Throughout the day, there will be time to connect with other young adults who care deeply about giving back.
Whether you're passionate about service or just looking for a meaningful way to spend the day and meet new people, Good Deeds Day is a great opportunity to show up for our community -- together. Come ready to roll up your sleeves and make a difference!
Not a Young Adult? We'd still love to see you there!
