Program Description: Join PJ Library and the Young Adult Division for a joyful gathering focused on caring for our planet through hands-on activities and community connection. Explore our free "Rehome Treasures" swap, where you can donate, exchange, or take home gently used toys, games, clothing, Judaica, books, and other items. To help keep the swap manageable, please limit donations to items that can comfortably fit in the trunk of a car.
Whether you're looking to take home meaningful items for your Jewish home, find new clothes and home goods, or get rid of items you no longer use, this event offers a fun and practical way to reduce waste and strengthen community connections across generations. Together, we'll explore simple ways to make a positive impact on our environment.
Beyond the swap, participants can enjoy eco-themed crafts, PJ Library story time for young children, snacks, and opportunities to learn about sustainability initiatives happening throughout our local Jewish community.
This event will take place at the David R. Kahn Family Campus. Snacks, crafts, and PJ Library story time will be held indoors in the Guld Family Center, while the Treasure Swap will take place outdoors at the Lower Pavilion. Please confirm that all attendees from your group (including kids) are signed up for this program.
