Program Description: Join us for The Kabbalah of Giving and Receiving, a Women's Philanthropy-sponsored gathering where we'll taste local honey and olive oil, bake hamantaschen to give to others, and explore the natural, symbiotic flow of giving and receiving through the lens of Purim and Jewish learning.
The learning will be co-facilitated by Courtney From-Hirsch, a certified life coach known for her work in personal transformation and self-awareness, and Tamara Zishuk Lerner, Senior Manager of Programs and Development at the Jewish Federation of Greater Raleigh, who brings years of experience facilitating meaningful Jewish learning experiences. Together we'll dive into the Kabbalistic teachings of chesed (lovingkindness), gevurah (boundaries and strength), and tiferet (the harmony between them), reflecting on how these qualities shape the ways we give and receive -- in our time, energy, and, when possible, our resources -- and how caring for ourselves strengthens our ability to care for our community.
